If you've got 11 minutes to kill and love Baseball Stadiums

I just posted a video on youtube promoting my historical stadium mod.

I put a pic of each stadium in my mod and the diagram with it.

Take a look if you have time

Wow! Awesome work. I can't imagine how much effort went into making all of those. Are these actually incorporated into OOTP? I noticed that when I started my first new season from an OOTP21 save in OOTP22 some of the ballparks updated to the new designation. For example, Sportsman Park showed as Sportsman Park (1909-whatever it was). If yours aren't being used by OOTP22, do I need to download them separately?

[Edit] I see that the Steam Workshop has your parks, but I'm not subscribed to the mod. I will do that if yours aren't already being used in OOTP22.

WOW! Impressive. You spend so much time on stadiums, when do you have time to actually play the game?

Thanks everyone, it really has been a labor of love as pstrickert put it.

Ever since the game included 3D, I was interested in building parks.

To be honest, I am more of a fictional player so I started out creating fictional stadiums. From there I noticed that there were existing models out there in the 3D warehouse for sketchup that could be modified to be usable in OOTP. Once I did a few of those, and I was able to see how other people did things, I was able to develop better techniques.

I think for funsies, I worked on a historic park or two and then I found Clem's stadium site with the diagrams. From then on I just kept building one at time from his site. It was really addicting to be able to put out content that not many were willing or able to. Of course as my techniques and skill got better, I would go back through the earlier parks and make adjustments and in a lot of cases, just flat out re-built them.

I'm rambling here, sorry. I'm just glad everyone likes them as much as I do. for me, it really is just as fun as starting a new fictional league most of the time. of course, I am now into historical (how could I not be?)

Appreciate all the kind words about the video. I'm not much of a producer. who knew windows had a video editing program that would do the job. haha

cheers

Such great work. I've always had a thing with the Baker Bowl and I'm not from Philly.
