So what I did was restart, sim those two games and started it up at game three again. Not ideal but we won those two games so back where we were. Kinda.

Game four was a heartbreaker. Almost made a comeback in the 9th but came up short in extra innings.

Well... maybe next season. Atlanta was too much for my Arizona DiamondBacks to overcome.

This is why I love this game, here in my universe in 2028 the Atlanta Braves are not even thinking about playoffs. They traded Acuna, let Soroka walk in free agency after two Cy Youngs, and traded Albies in the last couple seasons.

Well in this world I traded for Alcuna. Got him for three season and am about to lose him to free agency.

The players I traded for him are killing it. OF Corbin Carrol lead the league in WAR and AVG this season. CL Edwin Diaz destroyed me in the playoffs. And Jhon Diaz is solid but had a rough season.

Yeah Acuna is a legit year in and year out MVP candidate in my universe. Consistently puts up 40+ HRs, 100+ RBI, and his slash is always great. Carroll is pretty good in my league he has put up great numbers, but is a bit injury prone. He also put up solid numbers in my World Cup tournament playing for Taiwan.

Yeah we failed on our run. Traded for Acuna and Soto in their primes and had them both for 3 seasons. They did what they do but it was not enough come playoff time.

We had over $80million in OF during the run (4th OF played DH).

The pitcher I traded for Soto, Forrest Whitley, won the Cy Young the next season and pitched the Yankees to a title. I also gave up a 40 HR OF in Heston Kjerstad and their starting C and LF. Not a winning trade.
