I was thinking about doing the original Jacobs field, but I read the only difference in the field confit is the right field wall was 8 feet where it is now 9. I still may do it though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The biggest difference is in the bleachers in left field, which were more boxy back in 1994 before they added on by angling to the edge of the scoreboard to increase attendance. It would be fun to see the stadium without the Progressive Field above the Indians script atop the scoreboard, and with the Jacobs Field logo on the wall in centerfield. Like fans of other teams who have seen their ballparks' great original names removed in favor of corporate titles, our ballpark will forever be Jacobs Field to me. As nice as it would be to use the original Jake, I'm thrilled that you are putting the time into the Progressive Field update. Having tried and failed to model it myself, I know and appreciate the work that goes into it. Here's a look at the old bleachers: ![]() Last edited by DCarducc; 08-05-2020 at 03:50 PM. |

You are correct in regards to the field of play dimensions not changing compared to the original park configuration. The original Jacobs Field would have cosmetic physical construction changes compared to the modern version - as the great picture above indicates.... boy that pic brings back some great memories of the first two years it was open!! |

Where exactly was the Jacobs field logo in CF? By the Bullpen? I’m surprised by the little amount of phots from the early version on Jacobs Field that are out there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You can just make out the Jacobs Field logo to the right of the home bullpen in centerfield.
There is also a second logo below the out-of-town scoreboard in left-centerfield. For some time, they also had the logo behind home plate. It was on the door to the tunnel that leads to the field-level loges and the umpire's locker room. Here's a link to the logo: https://content.sportslogos.net/logo...immf63eoh5.png And here's the best picture I could find online that shows the logos locations in the outfield... It's blurry, but if you zoom in, you'll see the Jacobs Field logo just to the right of Omar Vizquel at short, and just to the left of Carlos Baerga at second. ![]() Last edited by DCarducc; 08-09-2020 at 10:29 PM. |

Progressive Field 2015-present
Here is my version of Progressive field.
I went a little nuts on the lights and light support modeling and it took the model over 40 MB so I scaled back the detail on each to make it more manageable. https://www.mediafire.com/file/j84re..._2015.rar/file

Jacobs Field 1994-2014
I created a version of Jacobs field what it looked like in the 90s and 2000s.
Only a minor wall height change is the dimensions difference from progressive. Rest is cosmetic (scoreboard, bullpens, RF stands etc... https://www.mediafire.com/file/aeeo1..._1994.rar/file

Wow! Another masterpiece. When playing my Twins dynasty out, I will really look forward to and enjoy the trip to Cleveland much more. I also use Comerica Park for Detroit. These just make the game so much more immersive for me. Thank You!!!!

Great job as always, Silvam!! Looks absolutely exactly as I remember it when I went there.
If youre gonna continue your accurate versions of current parks, might I suggest the NL Central (excluding the already mastered Miller Park)? |

I couldn't agree more with what Tribe1450 wrote!
Absolutely fantastic work! I just played the first game in the original 1994 Jacobs Field. The signage and seeing the original bleacher configuration really conjures the feel of the park at that time. I also love the way you incorporated the parking deck behind the bleachers into your design... and thus eliminating the "bridge to nowhere" that I'm so used to seeing in centerfield in the official OOTP version of Progressive Field! The Q (or back in 1994, Gund Arena) also looks great beyond the fence in left. Fantastic detail! Thanks so much! |

Progressive Field just might be your best work yet. Every time I play a game in that ballpark I'm wowed by the detail and colors. Makes me want to visit Cleveland to see the park with my own eyes.
Looking forward to see which ballpark you decide to do next! |

Last night I wanted to use your era-appropriate Yankee Stadium for my 1991 season rather than the new Yankee Stadium that comes with ootp 21. I followed your tutorial on YouTube. Excellent, by the way. So, I ended up replacing the ootp Yankee Stadium with your mod. I played one game and I didn't love the camera angle so I decided to put the original ootp version of Yankee Stadium back the way that it was.
It was simple enough to do, locate the ootp version's .prk file and I figured that would be it. The thing is, it didn't totally revert back to the default version of Yankee Stadium because I remember seeing park factors over 1.0 -- I can't remember exactly what they were, but I know for a fact they were over 1.0. The park factors on your historic stadium were under 1.0 -- they were high 0.9xx factors. After clicking on ootp's Yankee stadium .prk file it loaded in the model and stuff, but it kept the park factors less than 1.0xx. I'm assuming they were still showing the park factors from your historic stadium. So, I figured I would click on auto-calculate factors and all would be right with the world. Nope. They changed some, but were still under 1.0xx... A) Does anyone know how I can make Yankee Stadium use the original park factors that ootp set up? B) If not, would someone mind taking a screenshot of their ootp default Yankee Stadium park factors and paste it in here so I can at least copy the values in? My next question... Is there a way that I could add all your Yankee Stadiums into OOTP but not assign them to any particular team's stadium? Following the tutorial video, I end up overwriting the current stadium information, 3D models, textures, etc. for a particular team, like I did with the Yankees. Is it possible to have ootp's version of the New Yankee Stadium and all of yours available to me in that drop-down selector box so I can easily switch back and forth? I hope I've explained myself clearly. Oh, one more thing. Is there any way to take the camera settings from one stadium setup and paste it into a mod stadium? I'm just so used to using the wide view behind HP, but also way up high so I can see everything at once. When I installed your stadium, that particular view was quite a bit closer than ootp's Wide view. Thanks for the hard work. I used to work with 3ds Max daily and I know what a pain 3D space can occasionally be when moving things around. So, bravo!!

I don’t have the original park factors that come with the game handy. You can certainly copy as many stadium files to your models directory and not add them to the game until a later time. Lastly. The camera angles can be copied in the 3D park editor screen. There is an option expressly for that. Click the button. Navigate to the park folder you want to copy and select the *.ootp3d file. Should add all of the original park cameras to my park Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks, guys! I actually decided to start messing around on my own and things are much better now. The only thing I would still like to verify would be Yankee Stadium's park factors if someone has a chance to post a screenshot or even write 'em in a response. Worst case scenario, I suppose I could just reinstall OOTP 21 and it should default all the ootp supplied stadiums. Luckily, I'm on a road trip at the moment.
![]() I figured out how to have the 1988 Yankee Stadium or any stadium installed & available. I don't know how the heck I messed things up. And I also figured out how to copy that camera view I like so much into any mod stadium. Looks like I've got some stadiums to install! woohoo! ![]() ![]() I appreciate all the hard work getting these stadiums put together. Oh...One more thing... The mod stadiums that you've created for the community - how did you determine the park factors for the fields? Did you have to research the number of triples, doubles, etc. hit in that particular park compared to the league average? Or did you kind of guesstimate the park factors some other way? Just curious...That's all. Again, thanks!!

Mostly I used the factors given by Eriq Jaffe’s ballpark creator app. I put the city, the dimensions, wall heights, and it. Spits out the numbers. Not sure if they are the most realistic, but they can be easily edited if you don’t like them so I don’t worry too much about them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
