Option to Respond to player

All too often I get a note from a bench-warmer that he thinks he should be starting. I need a response:

"You are batting .167. They boo you in the PAL league for that."

Historical note: Woodie Allen said that to Phil Rizzuto on a radio broadcast I listened to in 1967when Mike Hegan came up to bat.

Nah, my owner will demand I resign that guy. What's rich is when that guy wants a 10 year, 100+ million extension....

I've asked for something similar to respond to owner complaints. Sadly, if that was granted, my owners would be getting...colorful...emails from me, as I feel that most of the AI owners know almost as much about baseball as my two Blue Heelers.

Speaking of responses...

I really wish OOTP would put in a hard-stop - something that requires attention or it won't proceed - when the season ends and players you have Team Options on require an answer if you'll be keeping them or not.

Third year in a row I somehow miss it...I don't respond in time and then I'm forced to keep the guy. Is it my fault? Sure...but they will give you a hard-stop to remind you there is a guy on your DFA list that needs to be dealt with.

I've got about 38 brain cells left in my head...You gotta work with me here, ootp. Just a little bit...
