Card Performance
Is there any rhyme or reason as to why some cards perform the opposite of how they're rated? For example, a batter thats supposed to hit LHP with a very high contact rating, but not so good number against RHP, hits righties but not lefties. Or a pitcher thats supposed to be a groundball pitcher that ends up giving up more flyballs and homeruns? Sometimes this is not for short periods but prolonged performance. Do you tend to hang with those players to see if it works out, or dump them quickly? And can this be with a particular card? Might a different card of the same player perform differently? I ask that because I had a good pitcher who was losing games and all I did was sell that card and buy back a different card of the same pitcher that turned out to be a real winner.
