Just curious if there is a way to increase the market, as well as curious what effects it has.

I've crushed my fans hope a couple times with player trades, but willing and signing popular players have my very loyal fans at or near 100 most of the time. That said, its changed from Tiny to Minimal, so is there a way to increase it?

For all practical purposes Market Size changes are relatively random. If you do a search through any league's history you will find changes do not tend to correlate with wins.

The most common reason market size gets down graded in ootp is because of the dumb charity storyline your player asks you to donate to a charity and for some reason it knocks down your market size. And this can happen many times.

Use commish mode to get your market size back and disable storylines I am extremely doubtful if this bug/glitch/over sight will ever get fixed. And unless players find out more random effects of story lines we will never know.

This was posted here early a couple months ago. I've been playing since ootpb 18 and I never realized that storyline nerfs market size until it was pointed out. Then ran my tests and boom it lowers it 1 level no matter what you pick. So storylines are a big NO for me.

As well as owner controls budget. Hugely gimps the AI some teams can lose over 100 million in revenue and only like 3 to 5 teams get more money while 25 teams always have severely less money then they should.
