Division graph needs some fine tuning

I like the division graph as a concept, but it needs some reworking.

1) How can any of the team's lines be longer than others' if the X axis would truly mean a calendar date? They would all have to be of equal length.

2) If the X axis truly meant a calendar date, how is there never a horizontal line for either an off day or a split double-header?

3) So the length of the graph has to be determined by amount of games played, right? Every game notches it one unit of X forwards. But how come the Nationals have a longer graph than any other team when they in fact have played fewer games than any other team in the division?

I like the idea of having the division graph, but it should have an option to zoom in. Maybe click on it and a separate window opens up allowing us to customize the size and change the colors of the lines?

Wait, aren't you like a math person in real life?

I've given up trying to figure the graph out and now just stare at it until I get dizzy.

I do taxes and accounting, and dabble with weird maths as a hobby, and that graph makes absolutely zero sense.
