Auto-adjust grid shows up underneath field?

Anyone know why when I try to use the auto-adjust feature for the grid in OOTP my home base (#1 - red) shows up underneath my field? 1st and 3rd show up on the field - when I click 4 to adjust the field it's all sorts of messed up because the red dot shows up underneath home.
