I hate the dh in real life, but it works better in this game, since I can't manage for myself when to pinch hit vs leave a pitcher in.

Kudos!
Your copy/pasting skills are a far reach above mine, sir. I apologize profusely for presuming that the mere expression of my opinion relevant to the topic was grounds for ill conceived wit.

In real life, (NL) pitchers need to start hitting in the minor leagues again. In Perfect Team, a majority are going to favor the DH to increase their chances of earning PP.

Without the DH thered be no Edgar Martinez in the hall of fame and there would have been no David Ortiz, the BEST lefty hitter in the last 30 years

Three years later, Big Sexy taking James Shields' soul by hitting one into the Western Metal Supply Co. building still makes me smile.

How many rings did Ted Williams win? Was he a better hitter than Ortiz? WS rings having anything to do with whether a player was great or not great is a ridiculous statement.

Yup, it's a team game despite the individual duels. One player cannot win it all by himself no matter how great he is.

With the way most Catchers hit in this game, its like having the pitcher hitting anyway.

I don't care if they hit anyway as long as their defense is 120+
