DL - More days left than length of DL
I started the MLB 2017 Quick start and noticed players with longer time left on the DL then the max time. For example, Jung Ho Kang is on 60 day DL with 74 days left. Another one is Will Smith of the Giants.
There are players like Chris Tillman and Lonnie Chisenhall that show 24 days left, but no indication they are on the 60 day DL. |

The DL is just a holding place where people get locked in. Being on the 60 day DL just means you can only activate a player off of it after 60 days. The game won't drop a player from the DL after the right amount of time has been reached.

I understand that they can stay longer, but it usually says the number of days until they can be remove, not have to be removed, but in these cases the days remaining on the DL is longer than the minimum. It means after 60 days I still can't activate them. Not that I would because they wouldn't be healthy, but that is not the point. The days left for the 60 day DL should never be more than 60.
If you go to the editor you can easily see this. |

I'm pretty sure if they're still on the DL after 60 days the number you're seeing is how many more days the player will be injured for

Here is a screen shot of how it looks during the season. Check out Bartolo Colon who is injured for more days than the 60 day DL. In my example for Jung Ho Kang it says 74 days left (60 day DL). Not a big impact on the game, but a bug nonetheless. The 2nd screen shot shows the days on DL as 50 in the editor. If you look at Kang, it will say 74.

This problem should be reported on the bug forum. I've seen it too.

My guy with 76 days on DL also is showing that he played a game in his game log that happened on a date that has not come yet.
