Is my game hosed?

I am seeing some really weird things since I started a new game based on a template. Not sure what settings to check.

I am seeing:
Spans where I have had 3-4 days off in a row (not during an all star break)
AI is signing International Amateurs for 20-50 million bonuses (cap is 5mil)
Graphics on some pages are messed up
- In game mode, team names are overlapping minimize/hide buttons
- Edit Uniform screen is shifted up like 150px covering the check boxes


If I uninstall/reinstall what folders do I need to keep to continue a saved league.

Are all of your leagues doing this or just one?

Currently theyre all doing the Graphics, loaded saves and new starts

The International FA thing, may only be the new game.

To make things more strange, Teams played different amounts of games. 153-157
I could've sworn I re did the schedule after removing some teams from the template but maybe that messed it up.

Remember OOTP cannot create interleague schedules. So if you removed teams, have interleague enabled and simply hit generate new schedule that may be why you're seeing the 153-157 issue. You may need to find a schedule that fits your setup and import it.

As mentioned before, you have an odd number of teams, which leads to that problem.

Ill check that then. I know I saw a check box for Hard Cap.

There's a bug with the IFA cap, where essentially every time you go to that page (or the page refreshes), then it will switch back to a soft cap. The only way to keep it as a hard cap is to check the box for it, and then exit the settings and do not go back to that specific tab. Or if you do, always remember to check the box as the last thing you do on the way out of the page.

the game wants me to play without an ifa hard cap, thank you. i needed that rationalization. i feel like a millenial -> "it's not my fault" when it's objectively my own fault. (*might be regional to US)

It's not too late for a patch. The last OOTP 16 patch was released around this time, IIRC.

I see, I will have to remember that. I went to the page and the guys went back up to spending like crazy. My Asst GM has spent 24mil this year on bonuses lol
