No Scouting vs !00 percent accuracy
What is the major difference is these settings? If you are using no scouts, it's fairly obvious...and you only have OSA. However, using 100 percent accuracy still enables scouts....but both your scouts and OSA will be completely accurate, and from what I can tell, if you use this setting, it makes budgeting for scouting useless.
I ask, because if you are using relative ratings, using 100 percent accurate ratings eliminates a lot of rating discrepency issues Last edited by PSUColonel; 09-03-2017 at 09:30 PM. |

Does anyone not use scouts, or go with 100 percent accurate scouting?

Being forced to use 100% accuracy is one of the things that keeps me disinclined to play historical games. I understand why it has to be that way but it's one of many reason I only play fictional games. If scouting s 100% accurate why trouble to hire good scouts? I prefer to play stats only so I tend to rely on them less. But when it comes to evaluating amateur talent for draft a scout that favors tools is still invaluable. Unless you are using feeder leagues. Then it's nice to have but not something you really need. In that scenario you can live without them.
Just an aside the OOTP team has done a good job over the last two versions updating and expanding on the text of the scout's written reports. With ratings turned off it's all you see and the added variety is a nice touch! Please keep that up. |
