Subbing error in DH game

This happened the last two times I have subbed in the 8th inning....DH game...both occasions pinch hit for my SS hitting 8th in the lineup...on both occasions when the inning ends the pinch hitter becomes the pitcher. The game will not let me change pitchers until he faces one batter. In both instances the player pinch hit for remained in the game. I pinch hit for Freddy Galvis...inning ends and he remains at short and the pinch hitter trots out to the mound. As it turns out 1B Healy gives up a base hit...1B Molina gets a fly out. Running the latest version on PC.
