League Expansion Bugs

Bug 1: I started a standard game, simmed forward one year, expanded the league two teams. Had a successful draft and pre-season, however, no schedule was created for either expansion team for the regular season. All the other teams began the season successfully.

Bug 2: All the preseason predictions for the two simmed teams were 0-0.

Bug 2, of course, is directly dependent on Bug 1, because you can't have a record other than 0-0 if you play 0 games.

As for Bug 1 itself, the game is supposed to check for league structure changes and force a schedule regeneration. Not sure why it didn't do that, but multiple people have been reporting this problem for the last few years.

This is the first time I have encountered this issue. It's the same way I have played OOTP for many versions. I just ran a test league again and came across the exact same issue. No schedule for the expanded teams.

Hopefully this is a quick fix, since (for me) it was a non issue and ran perfectly in my last version of the game (ootp16)

Fingers crossed.

Ok, so I have figured out the problem. I had been expanding the league after Feb. 2 (the start of the new year). Doing this was not generating the expanded team schedule.

This time I expanded the league before Feb. 2 (at the end of the old year) and it generated a schedule for both new teams and we seem to be off and running.

I know in OOTP 16, I was able to expand the league at any time with no schedule issues. Maybe the team can have a look and see what changed.
Thanks!
