Glad to see the player opt-outs now have an option. It only makes sense for anyone wanting to keep the realism on games that are in the decades before opt-outs became a thing, which was really only recently. I'm still hoping, but not confident, that the bugs with some of the players on my AI teams not being set as starters is fixed. It's ridiculous that a guy with 80/80 ratings is on the 25 man roster but isn't even on the depth chart except maybe as a defensive sub. Never heard back from tech support on that one so I can only hope OOTP18 doesn't have the same issue. I kept one of my leagues in OOTP16 because of that reason.

Did it fix the problem in historical drafts; primarily drafts held during the reserve clause period - where players signed with different teams one year after being drafted?

No, all rosters are accurate to when the game starts, which is just before Opening Day. The roster updates are generally changed ratings and more accurate minors.

No, that's the purpose of it. It won't touch any contracts signed or trade offers, but shifts the rest of the world's financial figures (including player expectations).

Essentially, take every value on the financials page, and all the values on that page get shifted by the inflation amount.

Does it fix the strange issue when looking at a boxscore and it initially shows you the previous days boxscore? If you click on something else and then go back you'll eventually get the most recent boxscore. I've never seen this in previous versions, just OOTP17. It is very minor, but just strange. If not, no big deal! OOTP17 is still friggin' awesome!!!

If you enable the financial system in a historical league will it automatically assign inflation rates or do you have to enter them manually? Be interesting to see what happens during the Dirty 30's.......

We have defined values for historical finances. The inflation amount will only be used if we do not have historical financials to use.
