Fictional MLB League!

One thing I've noticed when filling all teams with fictional players is that a.) the spread is too large for my tastes (lots of 80-60 guys, lots of 25-20 guys, few guys in between). As such, I am attempting to create a fictional player base. I may post the file for download at the end if I can.
So far, I have completed the Diamondbacks. To me, these Diamondbacks represent a team in the latter stages of a rebuild. It's clear they misjudged both their competition window in the past (CF Robby Sommo's signing) and the market value for relievers (The signings of Ricky Lee and Juan Morales), which held back their rebuild, but they've had some pieces emerge in recent years (such as SPs Shawn Wall, Alfredo Guerra, Jerry O'Bronagham, RP Alex Gunther, LF Anastasio Mena, and SS Jose Garcia.) They could get lucky and make a run, but it's likely they need a few additional secondary pieces to compete. Still, a team on the up-and-up!

Atlanta Braves!

As promised, here is the Atlanta Braves. Although they have their pride and joy, CF Doug Flannery, this is a team in the middle of a rebuild, having bought low on some free agent starters (i.e. Ed Johnson Arturo Martinez, Ronnie Carter, Jorge Flores) in the hope of flipping them for prospects at the deadline. Also, they have many offensive pieces in their last year, such as SS Jermaine Robinson, 3B Ethan Carlson, and 2B Jorge Jaramillo. This is a team that should be among the most active at the deadline, flipping many of these pieces for some that can help them in the future.

Baltimore Orioles

The Baltimore Orioles have been made! This team is the first to resemble a competitive bunch, but they come with one problem: so many of their pieces are free agents come this winter! If the injury bug strikes, this club could be selling some major pieces come the deadline. If they stay healthy...they could win the World Series.
