The first think you will do...
in OOTP 17?
I will set up my fictional league I've been working on for the last weeks(writing up history from 1492-1900... don't ask, stay tuned) and start simming. I theoretically want to sim 75 years before starting up with my dynasty, maybe 50 years if I get too lazy. Very hopeful for the multithreading abilities here ![]() I will migrate my existing saves and my MILBREW dynasty over once the regular season is over there and the first patches are out. |

Hop right into 1998. Some of my fondest memories in baseball came this year, and I still remember them vividly even though I was only 10 years old. Now with the complete historical minors, I'm diving in right away!

Load up a 700 team fictional universe, turn it loose, and test out this multi threading.

In addition to porting over my existing franchises, I might try a hand at being the Blue Jays GM starting in their inaugural season. Or just let the die roll pick a random franchise and a random start date and throw caution to the wind.

first thing i'll do is set up historical league with AAA minors (w. fictional players) for 1918 and run a three year sim to see how the historical minors interfaces with the new game - so i'll know how i'll set up the game-up to play for "real".

I think I'm going to jump right into a hypothetical world series with historical exhibition mode.

2016 Mets. And then complain mercilessly in my head about ratings and how they're wrong. Because that is what I do :|

The first thing I'm going to do is create a test game with customized uniforms and logos that change every 3 years for 10 years. Them I'm going to sim and make sure they are changing with the dates that they are supposed to. If they do then I'll start playing for real. If they don't I'll be back here b------g about it!

Start with the 1991 Blue Jays and make it more then back to back Championships.
With all level of minors included, it's going to be fun. |

Sim out 2016 a few times, then write about it.

2016 Orioles - mess around a bit until the game releases for Steam (which I use on my main computer)
Then I'll bring my fictional over, and expand after a year, while messing around with my Orioles career on my laptop. After rosters are settled, I'll probably sim ten years into the future, take over a team that fired their GM at the end of the season, and start playing. |
