When can I edit Player Peak Age?
This feature is always grayed out and unavailable for me, even on July 1. . .
Any ideas? |

I think we're going to have to relocate that to the start screen preferences - we changed the way development interacts with the peak ages a while ago, and there's a calculation involving it that has to be done as a new game is being set up, so it would break things pretty badly if it were editable after that. That's why it's locked right now. But it's confusing to have that option where it is at the moment but not editable, so it needs to move.

Why is the peak age set so young? IMO: Peak age is probably between 25 - 28.

Has anyone played with this and had good results? Seems very low to me as well. Should be bumped up 2 years atleast.

That isn't the exact peak age, it's just a base number that's used to determine the earliest point at which a player's development will level off. The player's own ratings will have a significant effect on the final calculation, in most cases making his actual peak much later than the number shown in the settings.
