So I just loaded the ootp16 version of your DB. What do I do now? Im on a macbook and have not much of a clue how to install your DB over the one that came with the game. quick steps would be helpful. Thanks to any and all!

What I do is extract the "stats" folder from the zip file to my "Out of the Park Developments" folder. I'm not sure where that is on a macbook as I have a PC. I then re-name the "stats" folder that I've just extracted to "Spritze HS for OOTP16" and put it into the OOTP Baseball 16 folder and then into the stats folder that is in OOTP Baseball 16. That way it is a separate file within the stats folder and will never be overwritten when I update with a patch. You just have to make sure you point to it properly when you go to import your players. Not that difficult. It keeps it separate from the default database and that's the way I like it because it is a different database. I'd be very careful about overwriting the default database with the Spritze database, just in case you discover you want to return to the default database after all. Any other questions, post away.

No, you have to point it to look there. i.e. in game, if you've done it the way I do, you should see the Spritze HS for OOTP16 folder inside the stats folder. Click on that. Now, you're inside the Spritze HS for OOTP16 database. Click on the historical_database.ODB in order to import your players.

when you mention in game you click on the spritze db, is that in "historicals" under database path? or when the draft pool is made avail and you can "click to add file"?

At some point, you're going to have to go into the stats folder in order to import players into your game. You want to make sure when you're setting up your database path that you are in the Spritze HS DB OOTP16 folder when you point to the historical_database.odb. Don't worry if you suck at it now. You'll be an expert with practice.

Huge shout out to John Henry who was sure these MLE's could be better. Now they are.
I plan on reviewing more of the formulas that make up the components so there may be another update in a few weeks. Let me know if any challenges raise themselves. I may have forgotten something.

I am trying to run historical league with this awesome database, but when I get through the initial season, there ar only fictional players in the draft pool. I have set everything up to point to this database in th folder structure listed above. I there any step by steps to make sure I get this setup so it draws from the correct database?

Just want to have the real life platers available to draft each year.

I simply put the db in the default stats folder. No troubles. Are you doing something else?

I just put your stats folder in place of the original stats folder. Do I need to out the .odb file somewhere else, or just leave everything in the stats folder?
