Update from post OOTP 16 Loading Screen

OOTP found that the crashed_on_startup flag is set. Obviously the game crashed when you started it last time. OOTP will reset the graphics settings to default values. You can set them back later in the Game Preferences dialog.

What does any of this mean? I just want to get back and play. So I press ok and then the game opens and just sits there. Please help

It basically means that OOTP detected that last time you ran it, it crashed. Therefore it's reset all the in-game graphics settings to the defaults.

If you load it again it should run, but if you changed any graphics settings you'll need to change them again when the game loads (though bear in mind they're likely to be what caused it to crash).
