Does the View players/team in google earth work for anyone?

Do I need to download something to have this work?

What an amazing feature, I must say. Of course I doubt this will work for people doing a Tolkien league!

Install Google Earth, open your OOTP league, go to the Game Menu, click "Game Home Screen", there you will find a dropdown with Google Earth features. Try it out.

Is there anyway to use this to assign cities and weather to stadiums?

Very cool Markus..

I'm more impressed with the "Game Home Screen" was that in v12?

I don't remember the game home screen in 12.

This feature is awesome. I didn't even realize 7 of my ML team members were from Cuba, Dominican Republic, and some South American countries.

I don't even have a Georgian on my Braves.

What it does do is put your players on the globe based on the LAT/LON coordinates you specify for their birth cities...which, I did back when creating the nation file for 2006. So, assuming ME is Europe, it did a good job of putting people where I expected them to be. Now I just need to find a good ME overlay, and this will be pretty sweet.

But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Frodo. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... beings will come Frodo. Beings will most definitely come." - Gladden Field of Dreams

You know what would be helpful, then? If a person doesn't have Google Earth and they click this button, a dialog box pops up and says, "Please download Google Earth to enable this feature."
