Players getting worse and worse

I think my team has a quite decent coaching staff, but still most players are getting worse and worse (not only the aging ones).

Just take a look at Conine and Ignasiak who should both about to enter their prime at 28 and not decrease so much? Is there something I'm doing wrong, or what's the matter?

I think it's normal. It's just normal random development of players.

Yeah. Conine f.e. hasn't even decreased a half star and Ignasiak decreased half a star. Relievers are always going to be volatile, but those are really minor decreases, they're no reason for concern, just part of the game.

Plus 28 might be entering the prime for one guy, but might be out of his prime and into decline for another. No two players age the same.

Yeah, might be "by accident". But it usually never happens that a guy improves "by surprise". Conine was supposed the big bat in my lousy team - and now he's just an average player.

Have you changed scouting philosophies? That could be the reason

Nope, had this guy from the very beginning.
Starting season two now - and hope things even out.
Would be a shame if Randy Johnson drops from 4.5 to 3.0 or so.
