Fans everywhere are scrambling to put together a dossier on this Alaska squad. But then again, why bother. It won't look the same by spring training.

The IBL's Chicago Iron Pigs

Stay tuned.....
GM Schilling oversees the IronPigs organization to the championship And now ownership wants to meddle. Typical....

Wow. Well it's taken me a couple weeks (to the detriment of posting in my own -far inferior- dynasty) but finally got through all 84 pages! An awesome dynasty report and the attention to detail is fantastic. Love the game reports, your knowledge and experience gives them such depth. Fair to say Mr Schilling that you've won this Yankee over, bloody sock and all.

One player I didn't see mentioned after he left the Iron Pigs was 'The Kid' Chartrier, whatever happened to him?

Ya thanks! Amazing you should ask. Jean Chartier, i thought, was on his way to a HOF career. His 2015 season, .326/.380/.516 with 26 2B's 10 3B's 24 HR's 123 RBI's and 37 SB's was one for the ages. That was at age 22!
His health was always a concern but he never felt that was fair. When it came time to talk extension he was off the charts, with little to no wiggle room.
He played in just 185 games in the next two years but stood pretty firm on his asking price so I let him walk and the market wasn't good to him.
From that point on it was pretty much straight down hill. He signed a 2 year 20.58M dollar deal that winter with El Paso, and I expected that to haunt me. He hit .293 with 31 HR's and 96 RBI's the next season in a career high 158 games.
Something happened that winter and he showed up out of shape and was a mess for the 2019 season, hitting just .234 with 8 HR's and 28 RBI's in 98 games. They let him walk, and he ended up not signing with anyone, and his career, amazingly, ended in 2021 at the age of 28!!!
The irony to your timing is this, he's still just 34 and has come back to the IBL and is intent on starting a coaching career.
