The 1st half was good and we have a comfortable 8 game lead over Corvair. I will begin looking to see which minor leaguers can play major league ball in the 2nd half. i have a ton of talent in the minors and i want to give them a chance to play. I need a 1B who can hit LHP since Toni Jones hits them badly. When Bill Wyatt comes off of the DL at AAA I hope to have him back in Ford. I plan on trading Overfelt before the deadline. Not sure what I will get for him as of now. With Stan Pearl coming off of the DL I demoted Ray Maracle to AAA. I also shook up the lineup a bit.

Not much change since July 1st other then Corvair has fallen farther back in the NL East.

Close race in the AL East. Texas has moved into 2nd place over Anaheim in the AL West. The NY Mets retook the NL East.

4 games vs Brave. I like how their rookie 1B Joe Doucette looks, hits for average and has some pop. While they won't catch us this year, their future looks good still. They will be better if Fitzpatrick is healthy.

4-0 this week and I forgot to post schedule the week before. Some major changes to the team coming. With Stan Pearl out for a week, Juan will take over at 3rd. With Proctor out til next year, Dom will move up one spot and Norm Maclean will become the #5 starter. His brother Paul will become the Long Relief in the pen and Tim Ackbar will become middle Relief. While Corvair probably won't catch us, losing Proctor will hurt us vs Glenbard and the fact that they have 4 LHP as SP that we will face and we are weak vs LHP.

Dex is best friends with RF T.J. Burke and both are skiing instructors in Aspen during the off season. Both have tried some of the ski resorts in Ford but both have said that nothing compares to Aspen. No one expected Dexter to have the type of season he is currently having. He was signed as a favor to Burke.
