Logo request: Omaha Barnstormers

All right, all you graphical geniuses out there: I'm going to be taking over an expansion team in the NML (link to league is in my sig), and I need a logo for my new team, the Omaha Barnstormers. I'd like to see a couple different designs for this.... because I'm not really sure what the logo should look like. I think I want the team's colors to be a deep red and gold.... not quite like the USC red, more like Kansas City Chiefs red, and, well, gold. I'd love to see what you guys can come up with.

One other point: if you guys can take a look at the uniform-style logos on the website, I'm actually going to need one uniform-style one for the webpage and then the actual logo for the team page. Any help you guys could give would be greatly appreciated.

Hammer is most definitely on the board! This, and the "Irwin Intimidators" logo, are the only two laughs I've ever gotten from the Mods forum.......

What about Shub's Bad News Bears logo? That one is my favorite.

Forgot about that one..... it was good too, although "Irwin Intimidators" is my favorite by far.

So, um...... is there any chance of getting any kind of logo at all here? I'll lower my expectations and say I don't care so much about colors or anything...... by the way, a "Barnstormer" is the pilot of an old, WWI-looking plane. I have no idea where the name came from. Just thought I'd throw that out there, so I don't end up having to actually USE Hammer's logo for the league.

(If only my team was the "Irwin Intimidators" - I'd totally use that logo.)

Abandoning Milwaukee, eh? Damn, flighty Halo Fan!

Barnstormers probably comes from the tours baseball players would take during the offseason to make ends meet.

Well, I've found that I can't really do any more than three leagues without feeling overwhelmed and I've always wanted to build an expansion team from the ground up.... so rather than leaving a league I liked, I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone.

I assumed "Barnstormers" was a facetious reference to early cropdusters. I'll see if I can find out.....
