Need a little help
School has had me wrapped up for a while now and I just started back up with OOTP5. I downloaded the latest patch and the Rolen Roster files.
I installed the patch first. I then installed the Rolen Rosters. I had no previous leagues in my OOTP5 file. I deleted them because they were taking up so much room. I put the Rolen Roster file into my Create file because I want those rosters to be used each time a create a new league. Now when I create a league I get an error that something to the effect of "Runtime Error Microsoft C++ Library." I know I did something wacky here. My system had no problems with this game before. Has plenty of memory and what not. Thanks, Another Lost Padre Fan |

Its possible. I downloaded them off of Baseball Sim Central: GeForce's Opening Day TotalMinors Rosters. I guess I said Rolen's Roster before. I'm probably so used to saying that Roster Set. The Read Me on this roster set is quite comprehensive so it appears to be the latest of the versions. But the read me does say to unzip everything into the create folder.
I'm sure I'm doing something screwy here. |

Could it be that I deleted the old league files? I thought you could do that as long as you didn't delete the create file?

if the old league you deleted was the last "save" on the game that could be the problem. If you still have it in your recyle bin, try resoring it, if not, create on with the exact same name and try that.

To be honest I don't know what the last one was called. That was awhile back, and I've since emptied my recycle bin.
But I haven't tried to resume play on a league. I've tried to create a new one. So could that still be the problem. I downloaded Rocco's Rosters just a minute ago and got the same message. "Microsoft Visual C++ Library" Run time error. Is there something that .400 studios could send me overwrite my create file, or a league file that would work do you think? |

The best solution - and easiest - would be to reinstall the game.

make sure you unlicense it first.........rt click on the desktop item for that option, and have a copy of your receipt with the order id on it.
