Would like refund

Since nobody on here can tell me how to resume a game in progress and the idiot that wrote the instructions does not tell you either this game is unplayable for me. I would like my money refunded please tell me how to do that, thanks.

not being able to understand an answer is not the same thing as not being provided one.

that said, if you want a refund send a support ticket, (I have no idea what the policy is, but I do know that's how you would find out) I don't know what you expect to happen by posting the request in the forums.

Do you see the option on the in game menu that you click to save and leave? It's at the bottom. It's after the option to quick play to the 9th...The very next button. Click that and you will have saved your game in progress.

You can now do whatever you choose, including exiting OOTP. When you load up the game again, choose the option to continue game. This will take you back to your league. When it loads you will see a menu of games running across the top of the screen. If your game is there simply click on it and you will return to your game.

Or even easier is to go to the upper right corner where you will see the "play" menu. Click on "play" and listed on the menu will first see the Today with the option to finish today. Right below that you will see the words TODAY's GAME---- below this you will see EEnter game vs (the name of the team you were playing when you saved and left Click on that option and you will go directly to your saved game.

Now, the above is assuming you are in control of a particular team in your league. If you are simply playing in commissioner mode and watching a game play out. After you click on save and leave. You will see the list of saved games across the top of you screen with "paused" on the very top left menu box. Click on one of the games and the days games will show. Simply click on "watch game" and you will be back in a game.

5 people answered your question. I was one of them. I think your parents should get a refund from the schools you attended.

you can likely call the credit card company and explain your situation to them, the same way you did to us. they should be able to tell you the process and refund the money when you prove the fraud.

Three threads one of them almost 11 years ago. See a pattern here?

Nuff said.

Edit; for the record, refunds can be requested via PM and/or email. In my opinion anyone who asks on the board has an agenda beyond getting a refund.

Exactly. There appear to be some identities in the member list which are reserved for just such a purpose. If I am correct, they are periodically taken out of mothballs to post nonsense about the game in order to subvert it.

As The Game said, at least five of us answered his "question" already. For what other reason does "rmilin11" come back here to announce that he wants a "refund"? Can anyone believe that one obtains a refund by posting on a community board?

I used to be concerned about such trolls and I used to caution against responding to them so that their agendas would not be furthered by repeatedly boosting their threads up the board. I am no longer concerned, and here is why ("rmilin11," take this as a personal message to you although I can no longer read your comments):
  • This game is too good to be harmed in this manner.
  • The membership is too savvy to fall for this nonsense (although some of us err on the side of cordiality, which is a good thing).
  • It's better that we DO post in these threads and destroy stupid maneuvers such as this one so that new members can discriminate between what is valid criticism of this game and what is garbage.

Not to mention that his writing style, manner, complaints and even username are all slightly reminiscent of the r-hoods. I'm guessing that Mr RavinRaginTroll hasn't yet exhausted his supply of aliases.

Just for the record I've been keeping a keen eye on the support tickets and so far he had not submitted one. IDK about some people.

IF you have had the game for any amount of time and looked around the menus, then this is a problem that would not even have to be addressed. Even playing "right out of the box" the prompts are RIGHT there on how to do save a game, load a game, etc.
Pretty much sounds as this person has nothing better to do. Well, that is unless they are trying to make themselves look ignorant.
