Buy OOTPB 14 or wait for 15?
I really like the demo of 14, but I'm not sure if I can/should wait until 15. I think I've talked myself into buying it as my demo time just ran out.
![]() But, any idea what the price of 15 will be? And any confirmed differences between 14 and 15? Thanks, and keep up the great work; loved the demo.

Ah...it's only $20 dollars.
Only eat Ramen noodles for a week. You will then have saved enough to justify a purchase of both. |

I personally find that new versions aren't really stable and usable until they've been patched a couple of times, so I'd say to buy 14 now.

buy it....get going on a good career, and then import into 15 when it comes out and is patched.

Get OOTP 14 why wait to get the best version yet of this game .... I love it and play it everyday or as often as possible .... cost is irrelevant to the joy of never ending play .... no cure for the addiction found even yet since 2001

I too have this question. As a 14-year-old, I am financially tight, so spending $20 now rather than $40 later seems like a good idea. Either way, it will be an improvement over the free, PowerPC OOTP8, which I am running now.

If you think you can wait until April, then wait. But odds are you can't, so best to buy now, get your 20$ worth, and then buy the new version when it comes out. Historically:
-It will cost 40$ -There's usually some sort of pre-sale if you commit before release. You will likely save 5-10$, and last year got it 3 days early -If not, there will likely be a sale around the All-Star game, if you can wait for the new version until July. |

Thanks. I'll spend the $20 now and maybe another $20 for 15 at the All-Star Game sale. Another question. When will the current $20 sale end? Will it last the week? |

Not very many lawns need mowing in the winter ![]() Though I do usually mow my own lawn every week in the summer using an old push mower my grandfather gave me. |

As someone who was once the 14 year old kid playing baseball video games and having to figure out how to buy new versions, I can relate.

![]() To the OP get em both. I waited on 14 til right before the All Star sale and regretted it. I should have pre-ordered in January.

Peronally I never buy install any software with a version # of x.0.anything. I always wait till at least x.1 and depending on who's software it is I may wait till x.2. I do that for personal and work

I'm wondering now that Steam is in the picture if it will influence the price of OOTP15.
And Steam does have incredible sales at times. I would buy OOTP14 now at this presently low price, it is the best version yet and I can see some that will just stick to that one for a while unless OOTP15 comes out with, lets say.... 3D graphics....
