Don't forget Latos hitting the DL for trying to hold back a sneeze

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

Alan Trammell

Once missed an extended period because he fell of platform shoes from his Frankenstein Halloween costume.

Wasn't it Kerry Wood who hurt himself falling down getting in a hot tub. Or Sammy Sosa who went on the DL from sneezing. And who was it that hurt himself falling down the stairs carrying venison?

Stupid things happen all the time. I hurt my back a few months ago, running across the street to pick up diapers I had left on the hood of my car before speeding off....

Maybe I'm part of the "You can't fix stupid." Or maybe I am just an overtired father of three kids, two under 5.

Clint Barmes. Notable as the only MLB player to be born in the same town I was (other than his uncle Bruce, who played one game for the Senators in 1953).

Barmes blames fall on deer meat, not groceries or ATV - MLB - ESPN

I completely agree with this. It seems like every time my team makes the playoffs, my top starter and another key player wind up hurt the day before the post season begins. I understand injuries occur, but to have this happen every year is more than just a coincidence.

I had this one on a day off:
C Ánibal Montóñez was injured when he fell off a bull at a rodeo. The Diagnosis: intercostal strain. He's expected to miss about 6 days.
Problem is, it was on a travel day from Memphis back to Vancouver. When and where did he find a rodeo?

I lost a guy for 4-6 weeks from a lawn mower accident. I wish I still had the original report but I still remember that one because it was so funny when I first read it.

I just had the infamous wood chopping injury/extramarital affair storyline occur this past season for the second time. Always get a chuckle out of that one.

This must be one of the rarer ones. I could only find a couple mentions of it in dynasty threads. Kind of sounds like a Three Stooges skit.
