Invalid Database Version
When I try to open my saved game, an error message says: Invalid Database Version.
I never had any problem with that game before. How can I solve the problem? |

No, I have downloaded the latest patch one or two days after if my memory is good, and I'm playing in modern.

You mean you downloaded the patch one to two days after you started playing your game? Might be the reason why the database in invalid (new db came out with the download, but don't know if it wipes out old roster db's in old saves).

No, the new database shouldn't affect saved games, which should be always be compatible with new versions now. Unfortunately, the most likely explanation is that something in the save is corrupted, so it's probably unrecoverable.

Thats a plausable explanation, although I don't really like the final part
![]() But thanks for helping, I'll start a new game instead of wasting my time trying to recover this one |

I have encountered the exact same problem. Just crapped out on me on 2019 after the draft. Very disappointing to lose that far in if that is the case.
