Making the AI compete at the AAA level

Is there a way to get the AI to manage there AAA farm team competitively? i see a bunch of veterans FA who would take minor league contracts, but the AI only signs them when they have a need at the ML level. so then they go a whole year, or 2 with no stats, and there is no way to know if they are done, or still can play....

There's a "Roster Management" AI setting that is Favor Veterans or Favor Prospects. Adjusting that might help some.

Or just run the minor league rosters and lineups yourself, sign the guys you want, and force the manager to start the guys you want.

can you point me where that setting is, i can't seem to find it.

not sure me managing the other team is really an alternative. i might sign some veterans for them, not a bad idea. i just feel that the AI just doesnt care about AAA, beyond being a place where non major league player they own go.
