Can't save tournament or fight card?

Folks,

I have been unable to save my fights card or tournaments despite the fact that I hit save multiple times during gameplay.

I want to set up a tournament or fight card and then come back later and play it.

Anyway to do this?

I'm still using 2.5 and the in-game save option has never worked there. I never ran tournaments because mine are always bigger than 32 fighters so I just put them in the scheduler but anything you want saved you have to save when you exit the game. That save button on your main menu is useless.

I run 2.5 and every save button works for me ... I have saved fight cards, saved auto-schedulers and the save button on the main menu within the universe works just fine for me ...

Wow, had no idea. When I first found the game at 2.0, the in game save button didn't work. After losing my first few hours thinking I was saving it I never tried again. My bad.

I hit the main menu save button after every card or scheduler and have had my power go out and it saved ... also save the cards all the time in case I do something stupid (which is frequent)

I'll give it a shot, I leave the game to save after every 4 to 8 fights. So that could save me some time.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I am running 2.6 but no luck with saving a fight card or tournament.

I will play around with it and see if I am missing something since it seems to work for you folks.

Okay I went back and tried again. No luck.

I setup a tournament...give it a name and date. Save.

Exit the game and go back in, the bouts that I had setup are now gone. The tourney name is saved as is the date...but all the matches are cleared.

I must be missing something if folks can set up matches, exit and then come back and have the bouts saved.

I figured it out. The save button when setting up bouts does not save the bouts. I have to click on the hard drive icon to save the tourney!
