Spring Training

I don't know if this has been posted elsewhere, I posted a lot of this when offering suggestions for 14. But, I'll give it a whirl.
  1. Allow teams to call up players from the minor leagues without having to add them to the 40 man roster.
  2. Have an option to sign a free agent as an invitee to Spring Training as a non-roster player.
  3. Schedule both "A" and "B" squad games so more players can get more playing time.

Non-roster invites and split squad games would be nice, definitely. Letting us customize how long Spring Training is (in terms of number of games) would be good too.

Coach reviews during Spring Training. I would like my coaches to give me opinions on players... even is something small like 'suggested level'.

Spring training is more than just the games.

NRIs, yes. Split squad games, no. Don't need the latter. They comprise a relatively small portion of the spring training schedule in real life. Simply raising the OOTP spring training schedule to a reasonable length, such as 32 games or so for MLB, would eliminate the need for split squad games.

As I've suggested several times now, the length of spring training ought to be customizable—the length of MLB's spring training is not the same as for a minor league club for example. Make the length selectable in week-long lengths, from one to six weeks. Each week would come with its own predetermined number of games, but the user could elect to import a custom spring training schedule if they wanted a slightly different number of games.

I'd love an easy way to customise the number of games and the schedule in Spring Training. My current game is a 28-team fictional league and ideally I would have 27 games in Spring Training, one against each opponent. I could manually edit the schedule once generated, but an easier way of doing it would be welcome.

I would also like the option to be able to call Spring Training games ties after a specified number of innings (or not at all). I have had Spring Training games go as long as 21 innings which I don't really want - espcially as the starters had as usual only pitched about 4 innings putting a huge strain on the bullpens!
