Help with editeing .png file
I'm trying to edit .png files that I got from tombair's country jerseys on his photobucket page (Country Jerseys Photos by tombair | Photobucket).
When I right click to edit the size of the .png from 160x160 to 512x512 I am being told that Paint cannot read it or it is not a valid bitmap file. ![]() Any help out there? ***Sorry for the typo in the title!*** |

Been a long while since I delved into graphics, but editing/resizing is made relatively friendly for the simplest tasks with irfanview.

cmaug, you should not have to do anything to the files. Left click on the jersey you want. You will then see a larger image, right click and save image as xxxxxxx.png. Then copy to your proper folder. Rename the png file if needed.
MS Paint is not a good option to use. Try GIMP, Paint.net or Irfanview. They are free and better than any software intended for a digital camera. |
