Txranger -
I am reposting my request to you - I can't tell you how appreciative I am that you can help! So, just to reiterate, I've been trying to put together a solo fictional project, based on a 19th century idea. The earliest amateur teams oftentimes came together around occupations. I am going to put together a small six-team league sent in the 19th century based on this concept. The teams would play on the weekends during the summer, no financials or trading, small rosters, and exceedingly slow aging (I want guys to stick on their teams for a very long time.) I would like to have teams called the Alerts (firefighters), Quick Steps or Vigils (police), Thesps (actors), Scribes (writers), the Solicitors or the Arbiters, undecided (both lawyers), Sawbones (doctors). Perhaps I might sub one of those ideas out for the Ploughmen (farmers). Do you think some city names would work better for your design? Thank you for the time and consideration! |

Ask questions you must... Right click on the logo here in the forum you want to download, and select save image as, then select where you want to save it on your computer, then click save... It should save it as a png file and you can then load it from the game...

Do you want to use some of the unis I made for the 1800's Negro leagues??? If so I can re-name them and make new logos to go with them for your teams... I think I have a pretty good selection if you only need six teams... Let me know... |

I think the best way to go would be with the idea of "team name baseball club" and the logo. You have a great selection and I found a bunch that would really work nicely. This is how it will match up: Alert Base Ball Club = Washington Capital Citys (firemen) Thespians Base Ball Club = New Orleans Crescents (actors) Scribes Base Ball Fraternity = Cincinnati (writers) Ploughmen Base Ball Society = Louisville Tall Citys (farmers) Quick Step Base Ball Union = Philadelphia Pythians (police) Solicitors Base Ball Club = Georgia Champions (lawyers) One final question, and please forgive my ignorance - can I simply copy the uniform images as is from photobucket and change the names or do they need to be downloaded from somewhere particular? Thanks! |

Most excellent! There was a Sounds jersey floating around, but the colors were wrong. Yours is perfect, as is the Clippers.
Since you have other work to do, I'll wait until Sunday to give you the next project, the 80's Calgary Cannons. Thanks again! |

Okay, thanks! I think I'll go ahead and post the ones I have left now, from 1970-onward. Calgary is the only one I'll need right away, so please feel free to take your time on the rest. I'm thinking of putting all the 1970-1990 AAA jerseys in a file eventually. You'll get the lion's share of the credit, obviously. You should get a medal for conduct above and beyond the call of duty, too!

I guess they figured if the White Sox could wear 'em in Chicago, it would at least make more sense to wear 'em in California.

Ogden A's 1979-80
I made two caps, one from 79, one from 80... I went with the colors as given by this website (Team Colors - PCL) though the ones in the photos you posted look darker... If you want them changed let me know...
