My Suggestions, Hopes, Critiques and Questions

Bearing in mind that this version is beta and changes are likely to occur before the final game is shipped, I would like to suggest the following:

1) Why can you not start a trade solely for a team's 1st round draft pick or prospect? Maybe I just haven't figured it out, but there seems no way to view unsigned prospects whom has his rights owned by a team. This seems a necessary change. It is incredibly hard to offload a star player for cap reasons and get a draft pick.

2) Scouting - you can't assign a scout to pick out notable players from the entry draft? It seems it randomly allocates players to a scout. Perhaps I just cannot figure out how, but how can you scout a specific player on an opposing team? I've tried adding to shortlist, but alas nothing.

3) Training - The ability to edit the training on a more finer level would be nice (i.e. amount of video, skating, puckhandling, etc...)

4) Tactics - It appears almost inefficient. Perhaps I merely miss the ability to fine tune things a bit more by setting styles such as neutral zone trap, etc...

5) Ability to hire a head coach - or at the very least, the ability to set what assistant coach is the one to handle demotions, lines for when you want to sim.

6) Personnel screen - it needs it's own screen AND has to be capable of being filtered, as well as must not reset back when clicking on a personnel profile.

Anyway, take it for what it's worth, but these are my major gripes after hours of gameplay! Either way, major thanks to the OOTP team for taking on a hockey sim!!!

I agree with number one but to expand it how about pick who we want back in a Trade like if we favor Prospects,Veterans or so on and get NHL Teams to make bigger Trades because if a Team wants Jonathan Quick it might cost them a couple of Drafts Picks,Prospects and so on to get him.

Wavier Trades if somebody like the Jets is awarded the claim of lets say Tom Gilbert then lets say the his former Team the Stars can let him go for nothing,Pull him back or work out a Trade and same goes for unsigned Prospects if another NHL team signs the person to an offer sheet you have so many days to match it it don't you either get Draft Picks or Players in return.

Trades at the Draft,Top players left on the Board and so on that happens in real life

Tryouts including Free-Agents

Relocation by the Computer and when Expansion happens by the Computer Minor League Teams come with new Team and have like say Richmond Hurricanes contract with Carolina 9/23/2019 in after that date can renew it or find a new home for that team.

I agree with the negotiation aspect of trading! It would be VERY nice to actually have that ongoing "WELL NO, BUT...HOW ABOUT YOU DO THIS" - similar to the free agency. I think this was present in NHL:EHM and would be very beneficial in this game.

In regards to waivers, I don't think they quite work that way. I don't think the team who waives the player has the choice to pull him back in and then offer him to a team. Usually, from what I can tell, they clear and then a team offers for the player.

I concur with free agency try-outs.

Agree with all these. Also - a depth chart.

Did a sim and the San Jose Sharks put their entire team on waivers. I noticed because was trying to make a trade with them for Couture. He was untouchable in a trade but picked him up free on waivers. Is there something like baseball's post-trade deadline waiver period in the game?
