Longest Undefeated Streak Ever
Pretty sure this would be it. Noticed it when he was 17-0 on the season. He won one more before losing his next two. Ridiculous...

in a random debut league that has now fallen by the way side, had a pitcher win 19 before he had three no decisions and finally lost. He ended the season 33 and 11. Was in like 1875 or some such. I was amazed but that was the only one I remember. One man rotations and such. It fun to watch, but doesnt happen very often.

Wow. Are those within a league with offense and pitching similar to the modern era?

I figured I'd hijack the thread somewhat save starting another one. Has anyone had a longer game than this?

Wow. And to go 0-14 (Angrove), that had to suck.

Or Burge throwing a complete game shutout (9 innings) in extra innings, and his team ended up losing the game.

That is awesome! And a testament to OOTP's quality that the formatting/game didn't break.

Wow, I've definitely never broken 30 innings, at least with my own team.

I don't know if this is still the case, but it used to break at 40 innings, because the innings field wasn't dynamically sized in the database. Dunno if that has ever been fixed of not.
