Outsourcing Gone Mad
Hello!
I'm new to OOTP and just got my hands on the demo. I want to take it out for a spin before deciding if it's purchase-worthy. My first test is the creation of a small Custom Fictional League; a 16-team World Baseball Classic sort of arrangement with each team assigned its applicable Nation at creation. The settings are mostly default, though I DO turn off the Inaugural draft. I start the game and when I look at the rosters of the Cuban team for example, all the players are Chinese. Italy - all Chinese. Japan - all Chinese. Clearly I'm doing something wrong... but what? Can someone help? |

You can't have one league with teams in different countries and only players of their nationality on each team. This is something that will hopefully be addressed in the next version. If you're going to involve all those different countries, then players of those nationalities can end up clustered on rosters of teams in other nations.

Are you using regions in your setup? Best to avoid regions where possible. I had an issue with a new worldwide league awhile back where all the players were Chinese, and i'm pretty sure i remember it being because i was using regions with foreigners set to 0.
