overpaid veterans
Just wondering has anyone got tips for getting over this in trades. I seem to get it a lot when i want to move on one of my guys whos getting a good contract for what hes worth but still no one wants him at all. Is there any tip to trying to sway them in your favour??

Yeah, if you add the right prospect or player they want they'll take your overpriced vet. Just takes time and the right bait.

If you have the cap space another idea is to look for one of their overpaid vets who has only 1 year left on his contract. Even in the off season before free agency you can trade for a guy who has 1 year left on his contract and they will just be released at no cost to you come free agency in a few weeks.

I managed to get shot of Bill Hall after months of trying !!
$6M a season ?!?!? The other team listed him (very surprisingly) once I selected "make this work now" |
