patch download problem

i cant get the new patch to download completely i get to about 256k of some 6mb and then it will say download complete. i have tried over and over but no success. anyone know what the problem could be?

Are you downloading through AOL?

yeah i am using aol should i use an alternate program to download?

I'm not using AOL, but I am using a Cable Modem. I just finally downloaded the game today (I had 3.2), because I was waiting on the Lahman database fix before I upgraded to the new version.

Downloading OOTP4 was super fast -- but I've tried all day to download the "C" patch and I've had no luck whatsoever. It is unbelievably slow and then it even stops altogether. I've tried a total of 14 times!

I wanted to play this game! Today!

BTW, the entire .400 Software website is the slowest thing on the web.

Two issues.

With the AOL issue, use the Version of Internet Explorer that you have seperate from AOL to download the file, you should have better success (that's how I do it)

This second issue will effect both AOL and non-AOL downloads. The site will be much slower at the moment and for the next few days as the .400 studios stuff (coupled with increase traffic because of everyone downloading the latest patch) gets set up. When this is all finalized and cleared up, the site should speed up again.

So if you don't have success downloading outside of AOL its likely because of the overloaded server.
