And if he just set the record for career home runs, I get no notice even if he IS Shortlisted.
This is a bit of an annoyance. I'm fairly sure I've mentioned this before (probably even in this very thread), but it would be cool if the game produced a news story for more milestones. I know there's one if a pitcher wins 20 games in a season, but there should be specific ones for every 5 wins up to about 60 for example.

All EXCELLENT points, for this one above, this has been changed via patch that lets you turn that off if you so choose.

I like the fact that the option is there, so I leave it on, but I just wish it worked a little better

One I've noticed happening pretty often is that players will allow runners to advance on GBs way too often, when in IRL mlb game the infielder would make sure they don't advance. Examples include balls hit to the pitcher, or a ball right in front of the catcher. And slow runners should not be able to score often on a throw from a fielder with a 17/20 arm on a single to the outfield.

i wish there were tag controls on the coaches. it would make mass deletion of all the coaches the game creates when adding teams easier. or even better, how about the game not create entire coaching staffs for teams it creates? or even better, maybe not create feeder/minor league team for each major league team in the league every time i create a new affiliated league.

The scroll on the split and the past 3 years on the player profiles. There has to be some way to fit all the information in without scrolling to get it.

If need be get rid of the personality box and shorten up on the defensive ratings to make sure that all the information fits.

The stats are the most important part of the profile yet theyre the least accessible.

You know, I've always said to myself I hate having to make clicks to get to a screen to see my player's total career stats.

One thing that has alway bugged me is the inability to set pitching staff size to a designated number of pitchers. As it stands right now, the strategy section dictates the size of the pitching staffs in a league. If I want to lower the roster size to 23 players, I shouldn't have to up relief pitcher usage or lower endurance to keep from having 5-6 man pitching staffs.

That's funny because I have that exact issue.

23 man rosters, 4 man rotation, 4 man bullpen. But I don't WANT bullpen usage as high as it's used during play...but at the same time want those extra arms on the team.

for years and years I have been irked that I can't set my own pitching staff but let the A/I handle lineups.
