Amateur draft in historical league--BIG problems

Bought 2001 as soon as I updated in the wee hours of the morning. Went through one season, and the following issues came up:

(1) The amateur draft occured after the season was over, on 11/1, not on 6/1. Huh???

(2) I was playing as the Yankees, and had the 21st pick in the first round. When my pick came around, I found no fewer than THIRTY-FIVE five-star potential non-pitchers left to select from. Seems way out of whack.

Wish I could see some drafts like that. In my league, if you aren't picking in the top 7 or 8, you're either picking a high rated MR or a one star prospect.

The time of the draft is correct (after the season). Thats the default time in OOTP and believe me, creating 30 seasons (and right now I create the next 30 seasons) is time consuming, changing the default time of the draft would have been a nightmare.

For the 5* players available: I never saw such a draft class and no beta tester reported it. If you continue to see such draft-classes, would it be possible for you to send me the save-file, so I can take a look?

I'm going to try it again, erase that league and try a fresh run with 2001. Will let you know.
