I'd like the ability to offer a contract to a player who has retired.
I heard that somebody prevented a player from retiring but there have been a couple instances where a player would retire out of nowhere without letting me know and I would have liked to have him for another year at least while grooming his backup. |

When playing out a game- getting to your team's subs with the data selection you want is frustrating-- you have to go to a tab, and then almost always also have to pick a different dropdown because its not the one you want showing.
You get the pitchers when you want hitters, or vice versa, and/or you don't get the correct data displayed that goes with the bullpen or bench players you want to look at. Make one button that gets you directly to your pitcher list with your preferred data displayed for pitchers and one button that gets your team's hitters and your preferred data for them. For AI teams - optimize the defensive alignment after a substitution, or when a player is being rested. Defensive alignment is independent of batting order and should not be too involved to make more optimal for a team.
It's ridiculous, for example, to see the terrible rated outfielder in center field when a wing outfielder can play an adequate center. The AI should swap Sluggo Stumbler to left, etc. |

I've read a thread or two about the size of pitching staffs. Steve P indicates in this thread http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ve-roster.html that it's a function of pitcher stamina and use of relievers settings. Would it be possible to approach this the other way around ..... allowing the user to specify the size of the pitching staff he'd like and having the game fill in stamina and reliever use settings that fit? This would be more intuitive than the current system, which seems a little backward. If I know I'd like a 10 man staff I have to juggle the settings till I find the right ones for this size. Assuming there are several different combinations of settings to get a 10 man staff (for example), perhaps the user could be given a choice of which one he'd prefer.

I would like the ability to have feeder leagues without a draft. Basically, when players are done with there college career, they are free agents instead of draft eligible players. As it stands now, if you do not have a draft, then they are neither and toil away in some sort of middle ground. Can't play college, can't sign with another team.
Unless I am missing something. Here is the thread I started on the subject. http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ml#post2961275 |

You know what I'm going to ask for. The same thing I always ask for. The ability to see more Team Splits. Or, simply add one more row and allow the team totals to be summed up in the current report format.
Also, I'd like the option of seeing wOBA on the in-game screen somewhere. At least the option to toggle it with OPS or something. thanks. |

I think you'll need to provide a little more detail and evidence to have that considered seriously. How many replays have you run? What were your numbers? How does that vary from your expectations? Do you have real life stats to compare your results to?

I have played 20- 25 games from three different seasons. 1975-1985-1995. Starting pichers hace given up 6-8 walks per game.seems alittle high.I expect 4-6 walks per starting picher per games.Do I have the wrong expectations?

Ones I like:
1. Over time, new stadiums would be built. 2. Ability to run promotions on certain days to boost fan support/attendance 3. Overtime have retired players become owners of teams 4. More coaches. Like 1st, 3rd, and bullpen coaches 5. Ability to marry and have kids. Then have those kids able to be drafted ![]() 6. Ability to assign scouts to different countries. 7. Better quality of hidden players 8. Spring training invites 9. WAR. I think a good addition to evolving leagues would be a war starts and players are lost to a draft. 10. Evolving league feature. Let women play ![]() 11. Manager of the year goes to the manager not the player if you win it. 12. Make an executive of the year award for GM's 13. World Series MVP 14. option for a salary floor cap Last edited by AirmenSmith; 05-01-2010 at 09:14 PM. |

Home Run Derby?
Site of All-Star Game different every year? No Trade Deadline? Celebrity All-Star Game? New All-Star Game Rules? Unretirements for both Staff/Personal and Players/Pitchers/ Retirements in Season? The ability to hire somebody under Contract for a Job opening? Real Rule 5 and Expansion Draft Rules? Set League Rules/Options and so on to apply for all your Leagues for Example all Minor League Stuff the same because that would save me steps to do? Split Squad Games/Report to Camp/Minor League Camp/Set opening Day Roster before opening Day? Team Contract with a Minor League Team? A Minor League Team can be purchased by a another team? Past Draft Classes for a up and coming Draft? Draft last 2 Days and have like somebody's Top people left on the Board,Scolling on the bottom a Ticker saying who has been picked/what teams are next to be picked. Also in it say a Trade has been made and so on. The ability for like say Embree to give like Red Sox date to put on MLB Roster or will find another team to go to or Retire like in maybe Justin Speier case? Sort by Drafted by Team and the ability to then move all the people to that team? More people in the Database so if I Import a League if will give me the real Minor League Teams in it's People to or just Import a Team like 97 Marlins all of it's Teams people from that year not just like 25 and maybe 15 more?

There is no way I want a celebrity all star game. I can just see the forums after that is done.
"I think there a bug because the game had Briney Spears at a contact rating of 70, we all know she is at best 45 contact." |

In Historical Amateur Drafts more people in it like say 1980 we would have all the people available for that years draft like in Real life.
How then Cities Stars versus other Stars at All-Star Weekend then?
