In our Historical League, we are just wrapping up the 1987 season. The following teams are open: Cubs, Yankees, Expos, Pirates

In our Modern League, we are currently midway thru the 2011 season. The following teams are open: Yankees, Toronto, Seattle, Atlanta, Washington, St. Louis.

Expos and Pirates also just opened in our Historical League. so that makes 4 openings including the Cubs and Yankees. We just finished our 1987 World Series tonight. Offseason starts Saturday, so now is a great time to take over a team!

Pittsburgh has been taken in the Historical League, Seattle and Atlanta in the Modern League which leaves the following teams available:

Historical League: Cubs, Mariners, Expos

Modern League: Toronto, Washington, St. Louis.

Montreal has been taken in the Historical and Colorado has opened in the Modern. Open teams:

Historical League: Cubs, Mariners

This is a really well run league - Jeff is an excellent commish...

None of the teams available in the modern league are particular poor, although they could all use some help. The Nats (top farm system by a long way) and Rockies in particular have some very good young players - and could be quickly turned around by a good GM.
