CEI's
Just wondering what happens to the money owed on the contract should a guy get a CEI?

Don't release the player or you will be paying his full contract and the remaining years. Just let him retire at the end of the season and it will only cost you the 1 year salary.

Does the AI do this?, or does the AI release the player immediately? I would hope the AI was just as smart.

I was under the impression what SandMan sais is correct, however the new setup was pointed out to me in an online league. I tested it it a couple of times and sure enough, releasing a player with a CEI is free. |
