Mets Dynasties

As someone who generally plays as the Mets, I'm curious... how have other people's Mets teams fared, and what moves have you made?

Currently in 2015, made the playoffs all but 2013 (won NL East each of those years) and won the 2014 WS. Only Reyes remains from my original Mets. Traded for David Price, Matt Cain and Matt Weiters along the way.

Ive got the Mets in an online league im in. I emptied my farm, traded Flores, Fmart, Havens, Mejjia, Elvin Ramirez, Jeremy Reed and Ryan Church for Alex Rios, Matt Holliday, and Randy Johnson.

Im currently 35-21 and 1GB of the Phillies, but that was without Rios, Holliday or Johnson playing, as Ive just recently traded for them.

Needless to say I cant wait to see what a 1-6 of Reyes, Rios, Beltran, Delgado, Wright, and Holliday will do.

Ive got all of the key pieces locked up through 2011 so I should be in contention for a while.

Wow, how did you get all them? Did you have trading on easy?

I am into my third season with the mets... only my third ever game and have trading on normal... so far i have on the NL East both years.. First year with 96 wins... Second Season with 105. And I am 50 and 14 in the 3rd season.

My Current line up
C Brian Schnieder
1B Joey Votto
2B Eric Wetzel
SS Jose Reyes
3B David Wright
LF Jacoby Ellsbury
CF Carlos Beltran
RF Jay Bruce

SP
Johann Santana
Roy Halladay
David Price
John Maine

My Relievers are a little weak but they get the job done, and i don't really have much of a farm system, I think only 17th in the Majors.

Going to keep playing till i finally win a world series (then move on to something more challenging) ... I have only won one playoff series so far : )

I'm in my second season with the Giants and I just finished a series against the Mets. I noticed that Santana wasn't on the team so I did a search for him and this is what I found.

5-22-09 Injured ruptured tendon finger out 3-4 months.
8-14-2009 Injury setback results in end of career... released by Mets

That's my biggest problem with this game, career-ending injuries happen all the time even though they're extremely rare in real life.
