Thumbs up Installed

So I guess I get the first installation thread. I'm already glad to see Fenway on the loading screen.

My first impression is that it loads up much quicker than OOTP9 for me. Starting an '09 MLB league, which takes about as much time now as previously.

In the Game Setup area, I like the injury frequency difference between OOTP Classic and Realistic Modern Day being noted.

The menu bar changes on the bottom are going to take some getting used to, but that is minor and I certainly don't mind the changes. The OOTP Black skin is very smooth. I can already tell I am going to love the new logo generator. Some of the color schemes are odd (Florida having a white text on a white background image, for example) but the overall quality and difference between the logos is nice.

Just a cable connection. But I picked a mirror that was towards the bottom of the list.

The color scheme and bars for ratings is going to take some getting used to as well. Okay, enough playing around. I'll run an 1871 to the future sim and go to work. Work pays the bills that lets me buy OOTP after all.

You'll note the subtle different shadings in the ratings bars.

D/L'ed and installing now. Using the download manager helps a TON. I would recommend it. Cut my time from 1+ hours to about 4 mins.

I'm also happy to see Fenway!

The game looks good so far. My Nationals won their 2009 opener at Florida with a ninth-inning rally. Go figure.
