Can't complete expansion draft

Playing an historical league with the first year player draft moved to 11/1.

As the offseason has progressed, the following things occured:

- I completed my protected list prior to the 1997 expansion draft
- I drafted players for the first year player draft, which I believe is held on 11/2
- Now when I try to advance, it takes me to a Draft screen with the following alert message:
The following event has not been finished yet:
Expansion Draft
You are now taken to the draft screen. Please use the "Continue Draft" button in order to switch to the main draft screen where you can draft players. Good luck!

When I click the "Continue Draft" button, it changes to that tab, but nothing else displays.
When I check the "Draft Log", it's for the first year player draft, not the expansion drat.

If I try "Finish Today", it takes me back to the alert message.

It seems that by overlapping the drafts, I've hosed up the game.

Can anybody help?

Problem solved.

I put myself on vacation, simmed the day, and I got past the draft. Very strange. I'm going to play it safe and move the drafts a little further apart the next time any expansion comes around.
