That makes sense. Thanks, Jay. I've got the 2009 Baseball America Prospect Handbook and I'm excited to start editing/creating minor leaguers (particularly the entire Tiger farm system).

Oh, and I didn't realize that besides Porcello, the Tigers had a farm system.

Haha ... according to the experts, they don't. They do have a few guys who show promise, but they aren't big-time prospects. I know I'm a bit weird, but I enjoy following the minor leaguers.

No, I know. I love the minors too. And I think Satterwhite and Ramirez have some potential. I tend to agree with Sickels about Cale Iorg though.

I turned off the coaching system, used the coachs.dat file and was successful..... until I tried to manage the All-Star game in 2012 (damn). So, judging from what I'm reading here, although I didn't go all the way back, it seems like it's a new type of crash?

Hang in there for just a bit more and I'll release this new file. Going to test the heck out of it tonight and TRY to make it crash, so far had no problems last night.

I have to say what you have done is pretty awesome. I have one question. Is there a way to keep the real financials intact if you wanted to have a inaugural draft at the start of simming?

Cubby-

I love what you have going on here. I got pretty far using version 1.5, had a few of the "September issues" with the most recent version for some reason, but I'm looking forward to the next release from the edge of my seat.

The only question I have is whether you were ever able to figure out how to fix the Yankees history issue. I hadn't seen anything about that recently.

You can't right now JJ. The file is still in beta, and there is no longer an active link to the earlier versions. Cubby will be posting a link to the new file as soon as he feels it is ready, I'm sure.

I myself have off President's day and plan on hopefully spending the long weekend with these rosters when they are ready.

Perfect timing with pitchers & catchers reporting this weekend.
