crashed_on_startup flag
I have a new Macbook, downloaded OOTP9 this evening on the main website. Did a default install. Clicked to open the game and got the:
Error regarding the crashed_on_startup flag is set. The game shows that, you click OK and the game doesn't load. Nothing. So, I haven't even open this game in order to license the thing. Can someone help me and guide me through what needs to be done? Do I need to delete everything again and start over? Do I need to do something somewhere to get this game to even open up? Please help, thanks in advance. |

Sorry for the delay in replying to this.
I'm not sure where it is on a Mac but there is a config directory that contains a series of files and one of the fields in this is crash_on_startup and it sounds to me as if it is set rather than unset. I'll try and find a mac expert to give you further help on this.

I would appreciate any guidance regarding this error. I have downloaded the game but it wont start up at all. I am basically paralyzed and have no access to this great game. Thanks again. Dennis |

crash_on_start_up
This could be more than a MAC thing, I'm getting a flagged for crash on start up, OOTP is resetting to default graphics?? I've not been able to start this program, other than the license procedure. I'm needing some help here too...
